Marjory June (Lane) Waye

Marjory June (Lane) Waye, age 92 of Crawfordsville passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Lane House.  She was born in Crawfordsville on August 13, 1927 to the late Paul Leon & Lola LaVaughn (McKinney) Lane.

Marjory attended Wingate Schools and on August 13, 1946 she married Charles G. Waye, who preceded her in death on June 15, 1987.  She was a loving mother and homemaker and worked in Quality Control for Weaver Popcorn in Linden after Charles passed away.  She was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church and enjoyed knitting and sewing and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Stephen (Susan) Waye of Crawfordville, Ronald (Dianna) Waye of Waynetown, and David (Cely) Waye of Avon; four grandchildren, Heather (John) Arle, Ryan (Stacey) Waye, Marcus Waye, and Valerie (Kristoff) Cortez; six great-grandchildren, Eleanor Arle, Samuel Arle, Brandon Waye, Adam Waye, Ben Cortez, and Bianca Cortez; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; two brothers, Kenneth & Eugene Lane; and a sister, Fannie Addler.
