Alice Mae Fischer

Alice M. Fischer passed away in Crawfordsville on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 83. She was born in Alamo, Indiana on June 19, 1938 to her parents Fred and Belle Fischer and graduated from Alamo High School in 1956. She worked for R.R. Donnelley's for several years, then moved to Vero Beach, Florida in the mid-1960's where she resided until she returned to Crawfordsville in 2020.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Scott Fischer, her daughter-in-law, Claire Fischer, and her grandson, Graham Jeremiah Fischer who reside in Columbus, Georgia. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Griggs, of Crawfordsville, her brother, Jim Fischer, of Rockville, and her sister-in-law Mary Fischer, of Alamo, Indiana. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Paul, Dale, and John Fischer.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be officiated by Reverend Kevin Howey at Alamo Christian Church, 202 Madison St, in Alamo on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 3 p.m., with visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Alamo Cemetery.
