Betty Hulse

Betty Louise (Peck) Hulse, age 88 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at Wellbrooke. She was born on May 5, 1937 in Richlands, Virginia to the late Orville and Nora Peck.

Louise married the love of her life, Larry Hulse, on February 15, 1957. She was a member of Crossway Covenant Church. Louise loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, baking, cake decorating, and gardening.

Louise will be deeply missed by her daughter, Brenda (Greg) Hunt; grandchildren, Nate (Dana) Hunt, Erika (Jack) Jones, Brendan (Michelle) Paddack, and Victoria (Peter) Kilanowski; great-grandchildren, John Jones, Jane Jones, Zoe Jones, Autumn Hunt, Ruth Hunt, and Frankie Kilanowski; and sisters, Dorothy (Kyle) Reynolds, Juanita Francis, Loranine (Wayne) Shanks, and Cynthia Ancarrow, and her sister-in-law Susan Peck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anita Paddack; and siblings, Newton Peck, Hadford Peck, Carlos Peck, Sarah Reynolds, and Eunice Farmer.

A visitation will be at Crossway Covenant Church, 101 W. Main Street, in New Market on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Bill Pike officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
