Billy B McGuire

Billy B. McGuire, age 77, of Kingman passed away at 12:09 pm on Friday, November 1, 2013. He was born in Iuka IL on March 3, 1936 to the late Tommie and Margaret (Abney) McGuire. He graduated from Salem High School in IL and was a career truck driver for the Teamsters Union for 42 years and earned the 3 million mile safe driving award.

Billy loved life, enjoyed reading, history, sports, NASCAR, soul music, and playing the saxophone. He was one that would read the dictionary and loved using big words and knew many facts about everything. He loved his family, his dog Sandy, and his cat Cateley.

He is survived by Muriel McGuire Lothian, mother of his three children; two sons, Devin (Sally) McGuire of Bloomington IN and Darin (Ursula) McGuire of Boca Raton FL; his daughter, Kerry (Jim) Lambert of Milford CT; step-daughter, Stephanie Walstra of DeMotte IN; 7 grandchildren, Gaelan, Mary, Isabel, Mark, Abby, Danielle, and JordanLee; a great-child, Ava Rose; and his best friend L.T.
