Carol Leeann (Whalen) Kline

Carol Leeann (Whalen) Kline, age 71 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at home. She was born in Crawfordsville on July 20, 1951 to Keith & Claudine (Graves) Whalen.

Carol attended Waynetown High School then moved to California. Throughout the years she worked at Thor RV Company, was a receptionist at an insurance company, and worked in the church nursery at Redlands University United Methodist Church in California. She enjoyed reading, loved traveling to DisneyLand and The Pantages Theater in LA, watching horror movies and musicals, and was an animal lover.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Kline of Arizona; her mother, Claudine Whalen of Crawfordsville; three children, Mick Kline of Missouri, Ryan (Michelle) Kline of Crawfordsville, and Melanie Bowie Kline of Indianapolis; a sister, Cheryl (John) Luzader of Crawfordsville; a brother, Bill (Loretta) Whalen of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren, Ariel, Willem, Sophia, Olivia, and Violet; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Scarlett; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Whalen.

Cremation was chosen with a visitation at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 4:00 pm till the time of the memorial service at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be given in her memory to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
