Catherine Ann Harris

Catherine "Cathy" Ann Harris, age 75 of Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 8, 2025 at home. She was born on March 18, 1950 to Russell and Virginia "Ginny" (Stultz) Sarver in Crawfordsville. Cathy married Dwayne Edwin Harris on Valentines Day in 1981 at Yountsville Community Church.

Cathy attended Mt. Zion Elementary, Tuttle Middle School and graduated from Crawfordsville High School, Class of 1968. She graduated from Purdue University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Home Economics. Cathy worked at RR Donnelley until she retired in 2012. She attended Yountsville Community Church from a small child until her passing. 

Cathy loved the Lord and wanted everyone to have a relationship with the Lord. She was very active in her church and Alamo Church activities. 
Cathy is survived by 3 children, Trinette (Gabe) Thompson, Heather Hole and Michael Harris; five grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly) Harwood, Chasie (John Brumley) Hardwood, JJ (Kaylee) Bush, Anna Bush, and Olivia Harris; 9 great-grandchildren with twins (a boy and a girl!) on the way; a sister, Beth (Gary) Jeffers; a brother, David Sarver; two sisters-in-law, Susie Flint and Betty Norman; and several nieces and nephews and extended family. 

Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Harris; parents, Russell and Ginny Sarver; and a brother, Jim Sarver.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yountsville Community Church. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Yountsville Community Church, 4382 W State Road 32 outside of Crawfordsville from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm with Pastor Duane Abston officiating.
