Catherine Doris Ketchum

Ms. Catherine Doris Ketchum, 72, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, May 28th, 2017, at 3:33 AM in the Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Hospital. She was born April 24th, 1945, in Durham, North Carolinas to George T. and Mildred V. (Burgess) Headlee.

Catherine was a Homemaker and had worked for R.R. Donnelleys and as a Hospital Admissions Clerk in Granbury, Texas.She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and attended Cedarville University for 3 years; was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church, Crawfordsville; and in her free time enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing games, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters: Melissa (Steve) Mason, Crawfordsville; Melanie Barnes, Denver, Colorado; and Marsha (John) Jones, Ypsilanti, Michigan.Also surviving are her grandchildren: Nathan (Bekah) Mason; Krissi Mason; Emily Shrum; Michael Shrum; Jadyn Jones; and great-grandson: Adam Mason.She was preceded in death by her daughter: Michele Shrum in 2013; and her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for Noon on Friday, June 2nd, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Whicker officiating.Burial will follow in the Oak Hill South Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the service time.Memorials in Catherine's memory may be made to: The Eastside Baptist Church, 2000 Traction Rd., Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
