Chelsea Johnson

Chelsea Marie (Arnold) Johnson, age 37, of New Richmond, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was born in Frankfort on April 8, 1988, to Randy Arnold and Brenda (Hindsley) Pattengale.

After attending High School at North Montgomery, Chelsea moved to North Carolina. She married Jason Johnson. She found joy in arts and crafts and had a special appreciation for simple pleasures in life, whether tubing down the creek, visiting lighthouses, or shopping. Chelsea loved spending time with her family, cats, and frogs.

Chelsea will be deeply missed by her mother, Brenda (John) Pattengale; father, Randy (Marsha) Arnold; siblings, Chad Arnold, and Beau (Lycinda) Arnold; stepsiblings, Christina (Thomas) Cunningham and Jeremy (Christine) Pattengale; husband, Jason Johnson; nieces and nephews, Tyler Arnold, Brandon Cunningham, Owen Cunningham. Oliver Pattengale, Leslie Cunningham, Carter Pattengale, Baileigh Arnold, and Viola Arnold; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and several, aunts and uncles.
