Cheryl Ellen Cope

Mrs. Cheryl Ellen (Conkright) Cope, 68, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in her home at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, December 22nd. She was born on October 17th, 1947, in Crawfordsville, to Fred and Geneva (Brown) Conkright. She married Larry Cope on December 24th, 1976. He survives.

Mrs. Cope was a Homemaker and attended Crawfordsville Schools.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Aaron (Marcy) Conkright, Crawfordsville; Shane (Carlie) Cope, Whitestown; step-children: Larry (Margie) Cope, Charlotte, North Carolina; and Teresa Cope, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Nancy Conkright; and Norvella Jones; brothers: Lionel "Jack" Conkright; and Rovene "DaWayne" Conkright.

Cremation was chosen without services. There will be a Private Family committal service at Oak Hill North Cemetery at a later date.
