Cheryl Ann Smith, loving mom and nana, age 73, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at her home in Crawfordsville. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 19, 1952, to the late Merle Wayne and Elizabeth "Libby" Ann (Luster) Smith.

Cheryl attended Crawfordsville High School and graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino, California in 1970. She enjoyed being outdoors and shopping. Most importantly, Cheryl loved her family and spending time with them, especially her dog Finnley. She also volunteered at the FISH Food Pantry.

Cheryl is survived by her son, Jason (Erin) Diebold; daughter Morgan (Brian) Biggs; grandchildren, Kaleigh (Jacob), Paytin, Addisyn, Carter, Evan, and Alexis; and her beloved pup Finnley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin daughters, Brooke Renee and Misty Sherrill.

A visitation will be held for Cheryl at Sanders Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street, in Crawfordsville on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00 noon.
