Connie Sue Nichols

Connie S. Nichols, age 64 of Crawfordsville passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Ben Hur Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Robinson, IL on February 25, 1954 to the late Robert & Elenora Mae (Woods) Nichols.

Connie graduated from Robinson High School in Illinois and was a loving mother and homemaker. She had a green thumb and loved taking care of her flowers, her favorites being lilacs. She was a great cook, enjoyed playing on the computer, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 72.

She is survived by a son, Billy (Lisa) Nichols of Indianapolis; two daughters, Lisa (Ronnie) Morphew and Paula (David) Cole, both of Crawfordsville; five brothers, Donnie (Angie) Nichols, Danny Nichols both of Robinson, IL, Floyd Woods of Kentucky, Roger Nichols, and Bill Nichols both of Robinson, IL; three sisters, Joyce (Wayne) Barrick of Oblong, IL, Bobbie Nichols of Lawrenceville, IL, and Debbie (Harold) Bachelor of Robinson, IL; six grandchildren, Cody, Cory, Harley, Lacy, Kaylee, and Brandon; 4 great grandchildren, Kamryn, Bentley, Abriella, Carolyn, and three on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rita Vanwinkle and Bonnie Byrley, and a niece, Michelle Vanwinkle.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St. in Crawfordsville on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 3:00pm. Cremation will follow the service. Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
