Mr. Cory Thomas Knecht, 23, died at 12:05:00 AM, on October 17, 2010 near Williamsport, Indiana. Mr. Knecht was born September 22, 1987 in Lafayette, IN to Jerry and Sharon (Franklin) Knecht. He was a 2006 Graduate of Crawfordsville High School and 2010 Graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Organizational Leadership. He enjoyed fishing, golf, baseball, and spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves behind his parents; 1 brother: Kelly Knecht, Crawfordsville; 1 sister: Sheena(Kyle)Lutes, Crawfordsville; his girlfriend: Alex Brock, Crawfordsville; grandparents: Glenn & Gretchen Knecht, Crawfordsville; cousins: Sarah, Joe, David, Susan, Mandi, John, Kimmy, Danny, Jarrod, Haley, Seth, Mark Christopher, Jessica, & Jen. He is preceeded by grandparents: Irene & Thomas Franklin; an aunt: Linda Brown and uncle: Richard Arthur.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 21, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Chapel, 915 Whitlock Ave., Crawfordsville, IN, with Rev. David Keesee officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 20, from 4 to 8 PM at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S.
