David "Davey" Alan Wheatfill

David "Davey" Alan Wheatfill, age 59 of Kingman, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Franciscan Health Lafayette. He was born in Clinton, Indiana on August 15, 1965, to the late Donald Lee & Geraldine "Jerry" Raye (Gullett) Wheatfill.

Davey graduated from North Vermillion High School in 1985. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Sue Johnston on May 13, 2007. He worked as a mechanic at Wilson's Towing in Cayuga for many years. He loved drinking beer, listening to country music and having cookouts with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wheatfill of Kingman, two sons, Donnie Wheatfill of Georgia and Billy (Brittney) Wheatfill of Kingman; two grandchildren, Orion and Tydus; three step-children, Jamie Kist of Danville, IL, Wayne (Amanda) Diffenderfer of Westville, and Robert (Ryan) Diffenderfer of Bloomfield; three siblings, Rodger (Patti) Wheatfill of Danville, IL, Donita (Troy) Morgan of Darlington, and Paula (Tom Arlington) Wheatfill of Danville, IL; best friend, Yalanda Larrance of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 12:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
