Donna J. Mayotte

Donna J. Mayotte, age 91, passed away on November 13, 2025 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was born on June 28, 1934 to Vernon and Irene Berlin in Veedersburg. Donna married John Robert Mayotte on December 9, 1952 in Attica, spending 66 loving years together until his passing.

She was a graduate of Veedersburg High School, Class of 1952. Donna worked at R.R. Donnelley’s for a few years before retiring to raise her family. She was always busy around the house, cooking, cleaning, but will be best remembered as an excellent mother to her 3 children. Donna loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and watching the occasional movie or musical. She was a former member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Donna is survived by her two sons, John “Art” Mayotte and Alan (Christa) Mayotte; a grandson, Paul Lucas; and 3 step grandchildren, Jason Lucas, Roger Swears, Jennifer Swears; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and her daughter, Sharon Lucas.

A graveside service will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Goodland, Indiana on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm EST (12 noon CST-Goodland time).
