Harriett Woodrum

Harriett "Kaleen" Woodrum, age 82, of Kingman, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 2:00 am with her beloved dog, Tank by her side. She was born in Mecca on December 11, 1942 to Rebecca Jane Andrew.

Kaleen married Henry Lee Woodrum on September 30, 1969 in Kingman. She worked at Dormeyer in Rockville and Steelgrip in Kingman, where she retired. Kaleen found joy in fishing, camping, cutting firewood, tending to her garden, sewing, and crafting. Above all, Kaleen loved spending time with her grandchildren, cherishing every moment.

Kaleen never spoke an unkind word to anyone and was always there to lend a helping hand. She liked peanut butter and lemonade and enjoyed warmth of sunny days. Kaleen faced incredible challenges in her battle with cancer, she approached her journey with strength, refusing to complain and always finding a way to uplift those around her.

Kaleen will be deeply missed by her daughter, Rita (Terrel) Furr of Kingman; her beloved dog, Tank; grandchildren, Renee (Christian Blackburn) Swaim of Tilton, Illinois, Kyle (Heather) Furr of Hillsboro, and Nathon (Carrie) Furr of Veedersburg; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Mylee, Delilah, Nova, Henry Jay, Sophia, Tanner, and Tristan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mom, husband, Henry Lee Woodrum; son, Henry Eugene "Woody" Woodrum; and stepchildren Mary McCollum and Sandy Woodrum.

Visitation for Kaleen will be held at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. 1St Street in Kingman on Monday October 20, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Rush Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
