James Allen Cochran

James "Jim" Allen Cochran, age 62, of Waynetown, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Lane House Nursing Home. He was born on July 15, 1964 in Crawfordsville to the late Robert and Freida (Davis) Cochran.

Jim attended Fountain Central High School. He married Natalie Edwards on September 21, 1985, in Waynetown. Jim worked at RR Donnelly before returning home to his favorite job of all, raising his children. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching westerns, and building things.

Jim will be deeply missed by his wife; Children, Ashlie (Jeff) Threlkeld, Zachary Cochran, Jessica (Tel) Cochran, Daisy (Ian) Everhart; granddaughters, Hallie (Josh) Ricketts, Aurora Everhart, Lacie Threlkeld, Lindsey Threlkeld; siblings, Robert Cochran, Shawn (John) Shoeman, Don (Amy) Cochran, Cheryl Cochran; and his beloved dog, Oddie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Logan Threlkeld.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 202 Bratton Road in Waynetown on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
