Jerry Conkright

Jerry Conkright, age 84 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. He was born in Lafayette on March 13, 1941 to the late Glen and Catherine (Boardman) Conkright.

Jerry married the love of his life, Judith Rehena Curry on January 1, 1979. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2023. Jerry retired from Ingress Plastines after 40 years of service. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Jerry enjoyed fishing and selling at flea markets.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his children, Nancy (Barry) Conkright, Lisa (David) Conkright, Mary (Greg) Gillis, Jerry (KC) Conkright, Ken (Cindy) Brown, Cheryl (Pat) Ebaugh, Jim (Melody) Brown, and Sean Conkright; 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Wanda Woodcock.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Bob Conkright, Bill Butts, Ernest Butts, David Conkright, Glen Conkright, Leota McCloud, Cora Forrest, and Alberta Fairfield.

A graveside service will be held for Jerry at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Avenue, 1114 S. Grant Avenue in Crawfordsville on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Rachel Boyd officiating.
