Jerry J. McClellan

Jerry J. McClellan, age 74 of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 13, 2018. He was born in Crawfordsville on December 29, 1943 to the late Donald & Joan (Ray) McClellan.
Jerry graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1963 and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On July 21, 1979 he married the love of his life, June (Baldock) McClellan, who survives. Throughout the years he worked at Pace Dairy for 10 years and then retired from Raybestos after 14 years and owned his gun shop, Tactical Weapons & Supply, with his business partner, Eric Small. He enjoyed guns, gun smithing, fishing and boating on the lake.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, June McClellan; three sons, Robert McClellan, Dale (Carol) Hayes, and Rusty Hayes; four daughters, Tammy McClellan, Joanna (Jamey) West, Anita (Mike) Eyler, and Rhonda (Anthony) Smith; a sister, Sheila (Mike) McCormick; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a nephew.
Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street, in Crawfordsville on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Burial will follow with a Graveside service at Oak Hill North with military rites by Legion Post 72 Honor Guard and the US Air Force. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.
