John Thompson

Mr. John Marshall "Black John Sleepy" Thompson, 61, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, December 15, at 9:32 AM . He was born August 20, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles Day and Elizabeth Thompson. Mr. Thompson enjoyed playing the guitar at Stoney's Bar and spent his free time fishing.

He is survived by his daughters: Devonna Rice and Melissa Thompson, both of Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Tyler Rice, Dina Mitchell, Kalene Holland, Ethan Holland, Tan Owens, Lindsay Owens, and Susan Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation without services were chosen. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family or to the: Liberty Dialysis Clinic, 1710 Lafayette Rd., Crawfordsville, IN 47933-1033.
