Joyce Louise Dickerson

Mrs. Joyce Louise Dickerson, 66, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, March 22nd, at 4:58 PM in the St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born April 11th, 1949, in Crawfordsville, to Dale and Emma Gene (Chrisman) Friend. She married Harold E. Dickerson on September 25th, 1970, in Indianapolis. He survives.

Joyce was a Homemaker and had worked for a short time at R. R. Donnelleys. She was a 1967 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; a member of the Liberty Chapel Church; and in her free time enjoyed Bingo, crocheting, NASCAR, and casinos.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Joy (Chuck) Browning and Melissa (Ed) Young, both of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are her sisters: Judy (Dick) Fulwider, Crawfordsville; Joanna Friend, Lafayette; Jennifer Wilkinson, Crawfordsville; her grandchildren: Thomas Browning, Bethany and Jonathon Young. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Wendy Jo Dickerson; and her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 6:00 PM Monday, March 28th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home. Cremation will follow funeral services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM until the service time
