Judith "Judy" Ann Blankenbeckler

Judith "Judy" Ann (Wentworth) Blankenbeckler, age 81 of Veedersburg, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 9, 1945 to the late Milton and Pearl (Cating) Wentworth.

Judy graduated from Washington High School in downtown Chicago, Illinois. In 1963 she married, Robert Edward Christy, they later divorced; then on November 6, 1993 she married Kenneth Blankenbeckler. She was a home health care aide for over 45 years. She enjoyed crocheting, loved to cook, and was always taking care of people.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Blankenbeckler of Veedersburg; two sons, Robert Christy of Danville, Illinois and Steve (Shirley Bartkowiak) Christy of Gadsden, Alabama; three granddaughters, Ashley (Reed) Haniford, Barbara Christy and Rebecca Christy; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lock of Veedersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Edward Christy; and a daughter, Barbara Christy.
