Katherine "Kathy" Marie Beckley

Katherine (Kathy) Marie Beckley left her body behind and went home on February 14, 2026. She looked forward to going home to Jesus Christ where she knew she would be made whole and at peace. She was born September 24, 1961 to the late Larry and Gladys Carpenter in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She grew up in Wallace, the oldest of three children. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rita.

Kathy was humble, hardworking and strong. While her children were in school, she worked in the Wallace restaurant, processing plant, and as a school bus driver. She later worked at Master Guard for several years before finally accepting a position at Donnelley's. She lived generously with minimal attachment to "things" and great concern for her family. She embodied the love of giving. You'd not find her seated if anyone else in the room was left standing. Her smile brightened the room, and her laughter was real. She'll be deeply missed, but oh how she is rejoicing in the arms of her savior.

She is survived by her brother, Larry "Sonny" Carpenter; her three children: Christy (Israel) Meagher, Angel Beckley, and Corey Beckley; and eleven grandchildren: Lillian, Alivia, Caitlyn, Kevin, Andy, Justice, Javon, Kat, Samuel, Jolene, and Mason.

A celebration of her life and promotion to heaven will take place at Church Alive, 1203 E Main Street, Crawfordsville, on Sunday March 8 at 2:00pm.
