Kathleen "Michelle" Lee

Kathleen "Michelle" (Perry) Lee, age 58 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis on January 3, 1967 to the late Thomas Poole and Nancy (Kenney) Perry.

Michelle graduated from the Excel Center in Indianapolis. Michelle was a loving mother to her three sons, Dominique, Jeffery, and Demetrus Sims, and a cherished grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her grandbabies. Her family was the center of her universe and she embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories with them.

Michelle had a passion for reading, a love for shopping, and a deep devotion to her faith. She found great joy in attending church, singing along to her favorite gospel hymns, and celebrating life with friends and family. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered and cherished.

She is survived by her three sons, Jeffery (Sheila) Sims, Demetrus (Brittany) Sims and Dominique (fiancé Jennah Florence) Sims; five grandchildren, De'Montay, Erin, Amina, Aiden and Amir; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, My'Kayla Sims.
