Lewis Dee Brock

Lewis Dee Brock, age 95 of Veedersburg, passed away on August 5, 2026 at home. He was born in Tangier, Indiana on February 16. 1931 to the late Clarence Sr. and Sarah Ann (Wilcutt) Brock. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who made a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Lewis attended several schools growing up including Cates and Grange Corner Schools. On February 5, 1955, he married the love of his life, Iris K (Covault) Brook, who survives. He worked in the pattern shop at Harrison Steel for 25 years. Lewis had many passions, from nurturing his vibrant garden to collecting and lovingly repairing jewelry boxes, each holding a story and a piece of history. He was also an active and faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Veedersburg, where he shared his faith and passion for the ministry since 1950.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Iris Brock of Veedersburg; a son, Andy (Terah) Brock of Ohio; a daughter, Amy Brock of Texas; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Marissa, Kayla and Adam; and two brothers, Fred (Becky) Brock of Veedersburg and Jerry Brock of Covington.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold Brook, Johnnie Brock and Clarence Brock; and two sisters, Ruth Walder and Frances Brock.

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 480 N US Hwy 41, in Veedersburg on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 1:00pm. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
