Martha Lea Thomas

Martha Lea (Walton) Thomas, age 84 of Veedersburg, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. She was born in Danville, Illinois on November 9, 1940 to the late Edward and Helen Walton.

Martha graduated from Danville High School in 1959. She retired from Eli Lilly where she worked in the pharmaceutical department. Martha married Robert Eugene Thomas on October 25, 1991. She enjoyed working in her greenhouse and making floral arrangements.

Martha is survived by her husband, Robert; and daughter, Joni (Jeffrey Russell Sr.) Shelton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd Drollinger; and grandson, Jeremy Ellis.
