Martin Clay Suiter

Mr. Martin Clay Suiter, 77, Crawfordsville, passed away in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Crawfordsville Hospital on Friday, June 24th, at 6:44 PM. He was born November 23rd, 1938, in Ladoga, to Oliver Cline and Bessie Mae (Murphy) Suiter. He married Nancy Lou Cler in Crawfordsville on February 1st, 1958. She survives.

Martin was retired after 42 years working for R. R. Donnelleys where he had been a Fork Lift Driver. He was a 1957 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and later in life obtained his Private Pilots License. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, shooting, reading. He was a big Civil War buff.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Sue (Andrew) Brassel, Crawfordsville; Lori (Randy) Ratcliff, Crawfordsville; Karin Becker, Crawfordsville; Andi (Mike) Davis, Colfax; and his son: Jeffrey M. Suiter, Wingate. Also surviving is his Mother: Bessie Sarjent, Crawfordsville; his brother: Robert (Vallis) Suiter, Crawfordsville; grandchildren: Aryn, Sam, Amanda, Jon, Jeffrey, Rebekah, Kaitlin, Owen, Lucas, Lucy, Matthew, Michael; great-grandchildren: Jocelyn, Scarlet, Hayden, Kendell, and Kearston. He was preceded in death by his Father and his brother: Bill.

Cremation was chosen with Family Services to be held at a later date.
