Norma Jean Kincade

Norma Jean Kincade, age 92, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 24, 1933 to John and Anna (Wakefield) Ehrie in Mellot, IN. 

Norma was an Inspector at Raybestos for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. In her younger years, she loved being outside, caring for the yard and garden. Later on, she enjoyed quieter activities such as crossword and word puzzles. At Wellbrooke, she was an active resident, joining Bingo and Happy Hour. Norma was a strict, but loving, grandmother and great grandmother. 

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Donna Demoret and Connie Bowman, both of Crawfordsville; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Steele, Daniel Donahue, Julia (Chad) Bailey, Daryl Donahue, Dawn Pruett and Kelsey Hart; 14 great grandchildren, Shelby Jennings, Clayton Steele, Tivon, Olivia and Blake Pruett, Skyler Griffin, Jordan Burkhart, Jason and Caleb Donahue, Austin Monroe, Madison Steele, Hayleigh York, Paisleigh Hart and McKenzie Miles; 18 great great grandchildren; a sister, Martha Shanks of Illinois; a brother William Ehrie of California; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Norma is predeceased by her parents; son, Ronnie Hart; 7 brothers and 7 sisters. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Sanders Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brian Holt officiating.
