Patricia Gail Zimmerman

Mrs. Patricia Gail "Patti" Zimmerman, 70, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, August 8th, at 12:07 AM in the St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette. She was born March 29th, 1945, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Bruce Clayton and Frances Louise (Bryant) Morris. She married Fred O. Zimmerman on September 6th, 1964, in New Market. He survives.

Patti was a Homemaker and retired after 17 years as a Custodian at the Montgomery County 4-H Building. She had also worked for several years at the Ben Life Insurance Company. She was a 1963 graduate of New Market High School; was a member of the New Market Baptist Church; had been a 4-H Leader; organized and continued to work for 26 years with the "Angel Tree Program of Walnut Township; was a Committee Member for the Montgomery County Jr. Miss Program; and enjoyed quilting and being with her grandkids.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter: Tami (Jeremy) Mussche, Crawfordsville; her son: Bruce (Jenny) Zimmerman, Crawfordsville; her sisters: Betty (Jack) Deck, Waynetown; Judy Brewster, New Market; and grandchildren: Owen and John Zimmerman; and Karsyn and Lilli Mussche. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, August 13th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the Ladoga Cemetery.
