Patty Ann (Conrad) Marshall, age 83 of Perrysville, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1943, in Danville, Illinois, to the late Glen & Martha (Bush) Conrad.

Patty graduated from Perrysville High School and spent her life pursuing her passion for hospitality and community service. She was well-known for her entrepreneurial spirit, owning a variety of establishments over the years, including Patty's Restaurant on State Road 63, the Old 76 Truck Stop, the Oakwood Truck Stop, and the Ramada Inn in Danville, Illinois. Her congeniality and culinary expertise enriched the lives of many, as she also worked at other local favorites like Benjamin's Restaurant, Harrison Hills Country Club, Mike's Colonial Parkway, and Peg's Diner Bell Cafe. Patty's love for food did not end at her restaurants; she delighted family and friends with her baking skills, especially her stunning wedding cakes and catered events.

Beyond her businesses, Patty was a vibrant part of the community, actively engaging with groups such as the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. Her spirit shone brightly as she took on the role of president of the Little League Concession Stand. In a fun twist, she even danced on television for American Bandstand for two years, showcasing her joyful personality.

Patty had a passion for life that extended beyond work. She loved cooking, canning, and gardening, and always had a pristine yard. Patty also had a zest for adventure, enjoying memorable cruises that created lasting memories, but most of all she loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them all.

She is survived by her three children, Brian (April) Pritchard of Clinton, Rodney Pritchard of Perrysville, and Ronda (Todd) Akers of Kingman; eight grandchildren, Christopher Pritchard, Amanda (A.J.) Larive, Adam Pritchard, Kayla Sanders, Alex (Kaylea) Pritchard, Alexis Pritchard, Mitchell Parrett (her best friend), and Katie Baldwin; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dale Conrad; and three sisters, Peggy Hughes, Jeanie Wrede and Glenda Haines.
