Paul David McMasters

Paul David McMasters, age 75 of Cayuga, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton. He was born in Danville, Illinois on May 31, 1951 to the late Samuel and Gladys "Ruth" (Thompson) McMasters.

Paul graduated from North Vermillion High School in 1969 and worked as a switchman for CSX Railroad for 33 years before retiring. On August 6, 1971, he married the love of his life, Wanda Jean Trosper, who survives. He loved riding motorcycles and watching stockcar racing.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wanda McMasters; two sons, Robert "Bob" McMasters and Scott McMasters; four grandchildren, Shelby McMasters, Taylor (Dakota) Loden, Madison McMasters, and Quinton (Sadie) McMasters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Arnold, Max, Gerald and John McMasters; and three sisters, Madeline Tryon, Donna McCurdy and Wanda Vecellio.
