Phyllis Krout

Phyllis J. Krout passed away peacefully at the Ben Hur Nursing Home on October 29th, 2010 at 8:30 PM.. Beloved child of Allen C. & Dorris M. (Patton) Eggers She was born January 19, 1931 in New Maysville, IN. She married Glen R. Krout March 18, 1952 in Crawfordsville.

Phyllis worked as a secretary for Purdue University for 15 yrs. in the Production Unlimited Division, retiring in 1991. She attended Roachdale Schools and graduated in 1949 from Crawfordsville High School.

She is survived by her husband; 2 sons: Keith Krout of Crawfordsville and Kevin (Brenda) Krout of Albuquerque, NM.; 1 daughter: Vicki (Darrell) Cope of Crawfordsville; 1 sister: Betty Hester of Hillsboro; 2 grandsons: Clinton Jackson (Companion Cassie Bixler) of New Ross, and Casey Jackson (Companion Casey Hart) of Crawfordsville. Also 2 step grandchildren; Judy (Steve) LeJeune of Alamo and Amy (Matt) Cranfill of Brownsburg and 10 great grandchildre

Public services to be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 2, at Powers Priebe Funeral Home, The will not be a public visitation. Burial will be at the Oak Hill South Cemetery, Crawfordsville.
