Retha Lee (Eustace) Huber, age 85 of Kingman and formerly Huston, Texas passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on October 29, 1940 to the late James & Marcella (Catobius) Eustace. Retha spent her life devoted to her faith, her family, and her community.
Retha graduated from Southport High School in Beech Grove, Indiana. Retha's warm spirit was felt by many, especially through her dedicated work as a church aide at First Baptist Church of North Huston, where she created the food pantry that provided nourishment and hope to countless families in need. Her unwavering commitment to service showcased her deep love for her Lord and Savior. Not only was Retha a humble servant, but she was also a vibrant presence in her family's life. She took great joy in singing in the church choir, sharing her love of music with everyone around her. Though Retha has departed from this earthly realm, her legacy of kindness, faith, and love will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
She is survived by her three children, Sherrill Ann (John) Segovia of Texas, Kathleen Sue (Charles) Curry of Indianapolis, and Rosemarie Cunningham of South Carolina; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Sally Ann (William) Schroeder; a brother, James Patrick (Barbara) Eustace II; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald Wayne Cunningham II; three sisters, Mary M. Miller, Margaret E. Halbrook, and Linda C. Eustace; and one brother, John Eustace.
