Mr. Richard Lee Oaks, 57, Indianapolis, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away on TuesdayJanuary 16th, 2018, inCommunity South Hospital Indianapolis. He was bornOctober 10th, 1960, in Crawfordsville, to Otis Albert and Christine H. (Hargis) Oaks.
Richard worked for the Indiana State Highway Department. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
He is survived by his brothers: Tommy A. Oaks, Kankakee, Illinois; and Joseph A. Oaks, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation was chosen with a Memorial Service being planned at a later date. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements
