Ronald Eugene McBride

Ronald Eugene McBride, age 70 of Veedersburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026 at home. He was born in Washington, Indiana on October 6, 1955, to the late John William and Vera Jean (Woodall) McBride.

Ron served his country in the National Guard for 20 years, before coming to know the Great God Jehovah. Throughout the years he worked tirelessly in the factory industry, spending many years at Peerless Pattern and Machine Company in Lafayette and Harrison Steel in Attica. His craftsmanship and work ethic left a mark in the lives of those who knew him and worked alongside him.

On October 15, 2023, he married the love of this chapter of his life who brought immense joy to his journey, Melodie Borst. Outside of work, Ron was a true lover of life. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed spending weekends attending tractor and car shows with Melodie, always excited to share stories and make new friends. His generous spirit was evident in his volunteer work at the Kingdom Hall, where he served Jehovah and formed deep connections with his community and sharing the bibles message at every opportunity. One favorite bible message of his was Jehovah's promise of living forever in paradise on earth found at Psalms 37:29. Most importantly, Ron served Jehovah and treasured every moment spent with his beloved family, who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Melodie; his children and grandchildren and three siblings, Virginia Ruth, William Everett, and Natalie Jan.
