Rose Truncone

Mrs. Rose D. Truncone, 98, Crawfordsville, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL and Bridgeport, CT, passed away Saturday, June 5, at 6:15 AM at St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville, IN. She was born October 16, 1911, in Bridgeport, CT, to Joseph and Lucy (Verderme) Cerino. She was a seamtress and an uphosterer. She married Nicholas Truncone on July 24, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT. He preceeded her in death in 1995.

Her memberships included the "Charlottes" with the Port Charlotte, FL, Elks Club. She also helped with the "Binky Patrol" in Crawfordsville, IN as well as volunteering at hospitals in the Port Charlotte area.

She is survived by one son: Samuel (wife-Rose) Truncone of Crawfordsville; one brother: Albert Cerino of Bridgeport, CT; 3 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

There will be family entombment services Friday, June 11, at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL. Memorials can be made to donor's favorite charity
