Tammy Joanne (Hannon) Poole

Tammy Joanne Poole, 51, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Franciscan Health East in Lafayette. She was born on August 28, 1971 in Frankfurt, Germany. Her parents are John and Hallie (Keith) Hannon.

Tammy graduated from Fountain Central High School, Class of 1989, where she played the flute in the marching band and took French Class, including a 2-week trip to France. She rode horses, was a member of 4-H and showed her pony. Tammy attended Marion College in Indianapolis and Indiana Business College in Lafayette. Tammy worked as an office manager for many years at Unifirst Uniform in Indianapolis, then at Walmart Optical in Crawfordsville.

She was a member of the Stone Bluff Community Church, where she enjoyed mowing the church yard on the zero-turn mower. Tammy loved dogs and hummingbirds. She enjoyed scrapbooking, playing cards, caring for her flower and fairy gardens, gardening and canning her vegetables, and cooking. Tammy lived life to the fullest, riding her Harley motorcycle and playing drums. She easily made friends, and was compassionate toward others. She loved dogs and supported the organization Paws & Claws. Tammy was a strong person with a loving spirit. Most importantly, Tammy loved her family and will be missed dearly.

Tammy is survived by her parents; fiancé, Erin Faulkner; sisters, Paula Richards (Doug) and Daneen Rodriguez (Reco); 2 nieces, Meghan Gillespie and Leah Richards; 1 nephew, Reco Lorenzo Rodriguez; 2 great nieces, Carissa and Odessa and 1 great nephew, Rian.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Stone Bluff Community Church, 1154 N Boord Street in Stone Bluff.  A gathering of family and friends with light refreshments to follow in the church basement.  Cremation was chosen with Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care.  Share memories and condolences at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
