Wendy Elizabeth Simpson

Wendy Elizabeth (Downey) Simpson, age 74 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Montreal, Canada on February 9, 1950 to the late John and Louisa Downey.

Wendy graduated from Forest Hill Community High School in 1968. She married Curtis Wayne Simpson on July 26, 1995, he preceded her in death on October 16, 2022. Wendy enjoyed crocheting, playing games, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Wendy will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Lisa (Gary) Brock, Deanna (Dale) Younts, Kimberly Hickman, and Duane (Trisha) Washburn; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death parents; husband, Curtis; and granddaughter, Sierra Washburn.
