W. Robert Snow

Robert Snow passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Franciscan Health of Crawfordsville.

He was born March 20, 1958 in Streator, Illinois to Claud and Patricia Snow. Robert graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1976 and attended Indiana University, where he was a member of Delta Chi fraternity. After IU, he moved to Houston, Texas and joined his brother-in-law's mortgage company. Soon after, he and a partner formed their own mortgage company, Baron Mortgage. He later moved to Tustin, California and accepted a VP position with Countrywide Mortgage. He was in California for several years when Countrywide relocated him to Chicago, Illinois as a regional manager.

After leaving Countrywide, he moved to Zionsville and started his own mortgage brokerage, CK Financial. It was named after his sons, Chandler and Keaton. During this part of his life, Robert was actively involved with Habitat for Humanity. He eventually moved back to Crawfordsville and bought the family home. He spent the last years of his life retired from Subaru.

Robert is survived by sons, Chandler Snow of Austin, Texas and Keaton Snow of Saint Petersburg, Florida; sisters, Susan Streetman Biddle (Bryan) and Julie Randles (Todd); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Debi Lawrence and Sharon Snow; and a nephew Jacob Randles.

He loved summer days on Lake Waveland with his dad and the family, camping with his boys, and sitting around a blazing fire. Cooking for family and friends and hanging out with his dog, Jasper, were some of his favorite things.
