Winfred Ray "Bud" Peach passed away Friday, October 23, 2026 at home surrounded by family. Bud was born May 26, 1944 in Gibson County, Indiana to Arthur and Grace (McClellan) Peach. He married Kandy Stonebraker July 9, 1983 and they had two daughters Amber and Abby of Veedersburg, Indiana. From his first marriage, he had a daughter, Laura and three son's, Kevin, Jeffery and Bradley, all of Mount Carmel, Illinois.

Bud was a manager for Custom Farms in Cates and then Country Concrete in Veedersburg until it's closing. He then went to work for the Fountain County Highway Garage for many years where he became the County Highway Superintendent for a couple of years before retiring in 2019. A couple of months after that he had to try and overcome one of his biggest challenges as he became very sick. He overcame everything he could and was as the doctors said "The Miracle Man". It was very hard on him not being able to have the life he had and provide the same way he had, but it didn't stop him.

Bud enjoyed fishing, working on things, splitting wood, music and providing a helping hand. He was very hard working and had so much wisdom and encouragement. He was a humble man who never wanted for himself but rather his family to be happy and taken care of. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives.

He is survived by his wife, Kandy; his daughters, Amber (CJ) and Abby Peach; Laura (Chris) Cunningham; his son's, Kevin (Jennifer) Peach, Jeffery (Nicole) Peach, and Bradley Peach; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Billy Stonebraker; and sisters-in-law, Holly (Brian) Peyton, Melody Rennick, and Cindy (Robert) Robinson; and a special nephew, Garrett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Laretta Bush and Aretta Wright; four brothers, Raymond, Dan, Earl and Jeff Peach; and a grandson, Zachary Peach.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen with no services. A special thanks to Southern Care Hospice for their support and care. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
