Anna Lee (Bowles) Quisenberry, age 93 of Washington, Indiana and formerly of Crawfordsville passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She was born in Parke County on August 18, 1925 to the late Hessie & Flonnie (Jackson) Bowles. On August 18, 1946, in Browns Valley, she married Leland T. Quisenberry, who preceded her in death on August 17, 1995.
Anna graduated from Waveland High School and was a loving homemaker and worked as a phlebotomist for many years at the blood bank in Louisville Kentucky. She loved her flowers, loved to cook and made the best spaghetti sauce. During the summers she enjoyed travelling all over the United States with Leland.
She is survived by a niece, Rita (Lee) Blanton of Waveland; a sister-in-law, Marthene; many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Karen Riggle and her family in Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland; a sister, Bonnie Allen; a nephew, Scott Allen; and a great nephew, Brad Allen.
Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor Vernon Dowell officiating.
