Betty Lou (Bosell) Reichel

Betty Lou (Bosell) Reichel, age 85 of Crawfordsville passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Lane House in Crawfordsville.  She was born in Dalbo, Minnesota on August 28, 1933 to the late Victor & Emma Christine (King) Bosell.

Betty graduated from Cambridge High School in Cambridge, MN in 1951 and on November 3, 1951 in Dalbo, MN she married the love of her life, Larry Leroy Reichel, who preceded her in death on June 15, 2008.

Betty was a loving mother and homemaker.  She loved to work in the flower garden, travel with Larry in their RV, and was very faithful to her church and sang in the church choir.  She was a member of the Sugar Creek Square Dancers and the Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Steven (Barb) Reichel of Arizona; two daughters, Debra (Doug) Wolf of Crawfordsville and Vicki (Thomas) Hudson of Whiteland; a sister, Lorraine Meyer of Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; 2 brothers, Art & Herb Bosell; 2 sisters, Margaret Anderson and Verna Olson; and a step grandson, Shawn Kolp.

Visitation will be at Friendship Baptist Church, 1981 W Oak Hill Road, Crawfordsville on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 12:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Chris Hortin officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be given to the church in Betty’s memory.  Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.  Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
