Elizabeth Miller (Miller) Bell

Elizabeth M. Bell, age 99, of Crawfordsville, passed away on July 11, 2020 at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Crawfordsville on November 14, 1920 to the late Benjamin H. and Mary E. (Wray) Miller.

Elizabeth graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1938 and on October 17, 1941, she married Warren Bell, who preceded her in death on February 21, 2005. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Elizabeth enjoyed, cooking, sewing, ceramics, reading biographies and traveling.

Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Gerald (Barbara) and Gregory (Martha) Bell; two daughters, Mariana Threlkeld and Marilyn Bell; four grandchildren, Jason Bell, Erin Bell, Christian Threlkeld, and Kathleen Bell; six step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, Paige, Abbi, Nate, Katie, and Avery; one great-great-grandson; Payton; a sister-in-law, Stella Steel; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren; three sisters, Mildred Lane, Naomi Merrell, and Claire Bennett; and a son-in-law, Fred Threlkeld.

There will be a private family service at the funeral home on Friday, July 17, 2020. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
