Garry Lewis Stout

Garry Lewis Stout, age 64 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. He was born in Crawfordsville on September 11, 1957 to the late Lewis Eugene & Evelyn Marie (Hodshire) Stout.

Garry graduated from South Montgomery High School in 1975 and married the love of his life, Marisa Annette Stadler, on April 12, 1980. He worked at RR Donnelley as a hoist driver and retired after 44 years. He was a very entertaining and funny guy that enjoyed making videos, loved all sports, attending sprint car races, golf tournaments, and playing in his fantasy football league; but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids and attending their sporting events. He was very devoted to his family and was the best dad and grandpa ever!

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marisa Stout of Crawfordsville; his children, Kelly (Anthony) Duncan of Kingman and Jeff (Sydnee) Stout of Hillsboro; a brother, Tom Leigh of California; a sister, Teresa Darlene (Gary) Laughner of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren, Logan, Lyla, Vivian, Josiah, Joshua, and Sylvia; special friends, Bill Maxwell and Randy Allen; father and mother in-law, Ivan & Dorothy Stadler; brother-in-law's, Alan and Matt Stadler; sister-in-law, Pam Barnum; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ron Leigh; and a sister, Roberta Nadolny.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street, in Crawfordsville on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4:00pm till the time of the celebration of life service at 6:00pm. Cremation will follow the service. Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
