Obituary
Gary "Scott" Pruett, age 64, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at his home. He was born in Crawfordsville on January 20, 1958 to the late Russell and Creo (French) Pruett.
Scott graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1976. He was proud of his Coal Creek and New Richmond heritage growing up. Throughout his life, he worked in construction and farming. He worked at LSC in the press room or the bindery. Scott was a wheeler and dealer and loved Kentucky. He was a good friend to everyone and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed being outdoors on the boat, water skiing, or camping.
He is survived by his two children, Cary (Carrie Ann) Pruett and Amber (Jason) Johnson; special friend, Shari Stratton; a sister, Peggy (Mark) Burkett; 5 grandchildren, Jessa, Jude, Josie, Kam, and Baker; and one grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William "Bill" Pruett.
There will be a visitation at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am.
