Harold “Bud” Lee Coleman, age 82 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. He was born in Veedersburg on November 28, 1937 to the late Simon Sr & Mamie (Sims) Coleman.

Harold graduated from Veedersburg High School and was retired from R.R. Donnelley’s. He loved being outdoors, was an avid hunter, loved to mushroom, was a proud member of the NRA, and attended Grace Family Church.

He is survived by a son, Brad (Kelly) Coleman of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mariya (Lisa) Ortiz of San Antonio, Texas and Myranda (V) Muchiri of The Colony, Texas; a step son, Max (Betty) Ditto of Rockville; seven grandchildren, Alex Coleman, Nicholas Coleman, Emilio Salinas, Christy Lee Coleman, Ruben (Amy) Salinas, Angelina Muchiri, and Faith Muchiri; one great grandchild, Cheleya Lee Coleman; two step-grandchildren, Stephanie Ditto and Nikki Ditto; four step great grandchildren, Ziza Sexton, Alex Sexton, Mason Fishero, and Scarlett Sexton; a brother, James “Jim” (Evie) Coleman of Veedersburg; a sister, Sally (the late Chatter) Miehls of Veedersburg; a sister-in-law, Ruth Coleman of Williamsport; and several nieces and nephews, too many to name.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Stella Marie Coleman; two brothers, Simon Coleman Jr. and Louis Coleman; two sisters, Barbara Clendenen and Joy Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.
