Jason Jeffrey Kindell, age 43 of Covington passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on Thursday August 5, 2021. He was born in Danville, IL on September 12, 1977 to Jeffrey Shepherd Kindell and Cynthia Sue (Strawser) Hehmann.
Jason graduated from Covington High School in 1995. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1995 - 1998. He was working at Powell Ace Hardware in Covington. He was an avid skateboarder and enjoyed his fellow skateboarders, especially his life-long skateboarding friend Aaron DeMotte at the Voorhees Skate Park in Terre Haute, IN, as well as Sunday Fundays. He also enjoyed his friends at the Northside Pub. Jason was always known to have a quick-witted remark or snarky comment. He was quick to strike up a conversation or maybe even give you a quick debate.
Jason is survived by his mom, Cynthia of Covington; his grandpa, Bill Kindell of Austin, TX; a sister, Rebecca (Jason) Story of Covington; a brother, Joe Kindell; four nephews, Ryan Story, Dolton Story, Jackson Kindell, and Tyler Kindell; a niece, Gwyn Story; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jason was preceded in death by his father.
