Jimmy Fults

Jimmy Fults, age 73 of Crawfordsville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Indianapolis on December 22, 1947 to the late J. Keith & Martha Mae (Todd) Fults.

Jimmy graduated from Pike High School in 1966 and married the love of his life, Susan, on May 11, 1990. Throughout the years he worked in maintenance at GM Truck and Bus in Indianapolis for 30 plus years. He loved fishing, NASCAR, IU basketball, mushroom hunting, smoking BBQ, and spending time with his family. He was a faithful servant and member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he was dedicated to running the sound equipment.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; six children, Tami Lang, Jamey (Marilyn) Fults Jr., Hollie (Shane) Fults-MacCloud, Keith Fults, Michael (Olesja) Hull, and Krista (Joe) Barker; two brothers, George (Nancy) Fults and Ronnie Fults; sixteen grandchildren, Kyle (Lacey), Tiffani (Jon), J.R (Tori), Sydney (Chris), Kayleigh, Keagan, David (Courtney), Christian, Kay-lynn (Austin Dale), Savannah, EliJAH, Jayson, Alex, Jacob, Ben, and Kimberly; and five great grandchildren, C.J, Hannah, Everleigh Grace, Jaxxton, and Peighton Alexis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Jason Hull.

Visitation will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 128 E 400 S, in Crawfordsville on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11:00am – 2:00pm. The funeral service will start at 2:30pm and will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on Jimmy’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Social distancing is expected and masks are required. Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Calvary Baptist Church Sound Booth Project, 128 E 400 S, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
