John David Lewis

John David "Dave" Lewis, age 84 of Crawfordsville passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Indianapolis on January 19, 1937 to the late John & Frances (Moore) Lewis.

Dave graduated from Bloomingdale High School in 1955 and on June 15, 1957 he married Nancy Eva Flock, who preceded him in death on March 31, 2015. He worked in customer service at RR Donnelley's for 40 plus years and handled the World Book account. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the St Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and the Indy 500.

He is survived by his two sons, David "Rusty" Lewis of Arlington, Texas and Ryandale Lewis of Crawfordsville; and two grandsons, Kyle Lewis of Waynetown and Carson Lewis of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Nancy.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 12:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Bloomingdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Bloomingdale Cemetery c/o Sharon Reed, 1304 W Egg Farm Road, Rockville, IN 47872.
