Johnnie Lowell Brock

Johnnie Lowell Brock of Veedersburg passed away on January 10, 2023. Johnnie was born November 22, 1935 near Silverwood, Indiana to the late Clarence Sr. and Sarah Brock. He graduated from Kingman High School and married Virginia Graves on October 20, 1956. He was a life-long member of the Veedersburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Johnnie was employed at Marshall Studios until it's closure, when he began working at Harrison Steel in Attica. He retired from Harrison Steel in 2003. Johnnie enjoyed woodworking and often made furniture for family members. He tended to the squirrels and birds that frequented his yard.
Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Virginia, his sisters Ruth and Frances, and his brothers Clarence Jr. and Harold. He is survived by his brother Lewis (Iris) Brock, Jerry (Linda) Brock, and Fred (Rebecca) Brock; his children Randy (Sandy) Brock of Georgetown, IL, Marla (Robert) Knight of Veedersburg, Jonda (Douglas) Poad of Lafayette, and Kristina (Brad) Hale of Waveland. Johnnie had 9 grandchildren, Jessica Phillips, Kayla (Kerby) Britton, Joshua (Kayla) Knight, Tyrell (Jessie) Brock, Hunter Hale, Brylee Hale, Logan Poad, and Levi Poad. He had five great-grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Mannon, Teeya Hanthorn, Beau Britton and Nikita Brock; and one great-great grandson, Carter Mulvaney.
