Leslie "Keith" Kinkead passed away peacefully from lung cancer at home with his family at his side on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He married his beloved wife, Shirley (Hood) Kinkead, on June 13, 1958. Keith was born on September 5, 1937 in New Ross to the late Robert and Mildred (Neff) Kinkead.
He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1957. Keith had worked at Meadow Gold Dairy in Crawfordsville, Crawfordsville Ready Mix Concrete and lastly IMI Concrete, retiring on September 30, 1998. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 135 Union for 60 years. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and camping with his grandchildren.
Keith is survived by his wife, Shirley; 2 sons, Bradley Kinkead and Kevin (Deb) Kinkead; 3 granddaughters, Kayla (Chris) Barsotti, Kari Kinkead and Kristen (Chadd) Gleason; 6 great grandchildren, Mila, Kane, Jase, Mason, Kaidyn and Kinley; and brother Richard Kinkead of Bainbridge.
He was predeceased by his parents; infant son, Mark Allen Kinkead; 3 sisters, Kay, Ann and Linda; and 4 brothers, Bill, Bob, Ralph and Mike.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery outside of New Market with Pastor Keith Jones officiating.
